Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping the world around us, and its potential to transform education is immense. The SAGE project brings together innovative higher education institutions to unlock this potential, focusing on the effective and secure integration of AI and no-code tools into Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Higher Education (HE).

Our mission is not just about technology—it’s about people. We aim to equip teachers, trainers, and educational institutions with the right knowledge, practical scenarios, and ethical guidelines to enhance the learning experience.

Our collaborative efforts are structured into several carefully designed Work Packages (WPs). Explore the foundational phase of our journey below:

Work Package 2: Foundations, Tools, and Safe Learning Environments

Work Package 2 (WP2) serves as the methodological backbone of the SAGE project. In this phase, we focus on empowering educators with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to seamlessly integrate Artificial Intelligence and no-code solutions into their daily teaching practices.

To achieve this, we are working on a comprehensive set of resources and guidelines. Our core activities within WP2 include:

• Mapping Best Practices & Tools: We are collecting real-world case studies and creating a practical overview of AI and no-code tools tailored for the VET and HE sectors. This includes clear definitions, inspiring examples, and ready-to-use use cases.

• Developing Interactive Training Modules: We are building a dedicated resource guide on „Teaching the use of AI in the educational process.” This features sample learning activities, step-by-step tool walkthroughs, and interactive online materials (LMS) that leverage our partners’ expertise in AR, VR, and e-learning.

• Empowering Educators: To help teachers bring theory into practice, we are preparing actionable instructions on how to use AI to spark creativity in the classroom. Additionally, we are creating recommendations for engaging students in blended and online courses, and we will host dedicated webinars demonstrating the synergy between AI, Learning Management Systems, and automated certification.

• Prioritizing Ethics and Cyber Safety: A crucial part of adopting AI is doing it responsibly. We are developing specialized content focused on the safe, ethical, and responsible use of AI in education, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity.

• Tracking Success: To ensure our solutions bring real value, we are providing simple, effective tools and evaluation methods (such as LMS tracking and online forms) to continuously monitor the effectiveness of AI implementation.

Through WP2, the SAGE project ensures that teachers and trainers are fully equipped to navigate the future of education securely, ethically, and creatively.
